Rice Delivers Lecture on Town's 'Natural Environment'

The Fairfield Public Library and the League of Women Voters are co-sponsoring a lecture by Fairfielder of the Year Frank J. Rice at 7pm Tuesday, April 27, in the library's Memorial Room. Dr. Rice, a Professor Emeritus of Biology at Fairfield University, will discuss the many local opportunities to enjoy the natural environment in Fairfield. Rice is a long-time Conservation Commission member and a Connecticut Audubon volunteer.

His new guide, Walking through Fairfield's Open Spaces, will be available for purchase.
