Sacred Heart University's MACOMM Program to Host CT Creative Media Forum

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Students in Sacred Heart University’s Master of Arts in Communication (MACOMM) program will host the inaugural SHU Media Exchange on Tuesday, May 29, in the University Commons on SHU’s Fairfield campus at 5151 Park Avenue. The evening begins with a reception at 6 p.m. and a panel discussion at 7 p.m.

A forum solely produced by this graduate-level class, SHU Media Exchange will encourage an open dialogue between the public and leading media professionals via a moderated panel and networking event. This year’s theme focuses on the expansion of Connecticut’s “Creative Corridor” and the rapidly emerging media industry in our state.

John Seigenthaler, former anchor of NBC Nightly News and current CEO of Seigenthaler Public Relations, will serve as the evening’s moderator. Featured panelists are Vinnie Fusco, general manager/executive in charge of NBC Universal Stamford Media Center; Meryl Moss, founder/president of Meryl Moss Media Relations; Bud Grebey, senior vice president of Maloney and Fox; and Christopher “Kip” Bergstrom, executive director of the Commission on Culture and Tourism.
