Fairfield Students Named to Dean's List at Various Universities, Colleges

The following local students were named to the Dean's List at their respective colleges for their work during the Fall 2012 semester.

The following Fairfield natives were named to the Dean's List at their respective colleges or universities:

  • Holly Tempini, a resident of Fairfield, CT, has been named to the Fall 2012 Champlain College's Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher. Tempini is majoring in Psychology.
  • Audrey Gleason, a resident of Fairfield, CT was named to Siena College's Deans' List for the Fall 2012 semester. Gleason is a senior social work major at Siena. To be named to the Deans' List, a student's grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89. Gleason was one of 733 students to be named to the Deans' List for the Fall 2012 semester.
  • Drew University student Gregory Hunt of Fairfield, CT has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester. In order to qualify for the Dean's List, students must earn a grade point average of 3.6 or above.
  • Catherine Hines of Fairfield, CT has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Hines is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
  • Nicholas Caruso, a resident of Fairfield, CT, has been named to the Fall 2012 Champlain College's Dean's List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher and is majoring in Business Administration. Caruso is the son of Kathleen and Nicholas Caruso of Fairfield, CT.
  • Kyle DeBouver, son of Robert DeBouver of Fairfield was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2012 semester at Saint Michael's College. DeBouver is a Senior Biology major at the liberal arts, residential Catholic college located in Burlington, Vermont, one of America's top 10 college towns. Students who complete a minimum of 12 credits and achieve a grade point average of at least 3.4 at the end of a semester are recognized for their scholarship by inclusion on the Dean's List.
  • Sarah Milicia of Fairfield has earned High Honors for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year at the University of New Hampshire. Students named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest Honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.
  • Hartwick College sophomore Maura Kane, of Fairfield, CT, daughter of Kathleen and Robert Kane, has been named to the fall term Dean's List at Hartwick. Inclusion on Hartwick's Dean List is an indication of excellent academic work, including the completion of a full course load with at least a 3.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale. Kane is majoring in accounting.
  • Kevin Sinclair, of Fairfield, CT, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University'sCollege at Florham, located in Madison, N.J. has been named to the Honor's List for the Fall 2012 Semester. To qualify for the Honor's List, a student must carry a 3.5 or better grade point average out of a possible 4.0 and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).
  • Matthew Struzzi of Fairfield, Conn. has been named to the dean's list at Quinnipiac University for the Fall 2012 semester. To qualify for the dean's list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.
  • Gordon T. Crean, a resident of Fairfield, Conn., has been named to first honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Fall 2012 semester. To be eligible for first honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3 (all A+s).
  • Sarah Keleher of Fairfield, CT, has been named to the 2012 fall semester Dean's List at Ohio Wesleyan University. To qualify for Dean's List recognition, Ohio Wesleyan students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes.
