Fairfield Students Named to Quinnipiac University Dean's List

Four local students were awarded the distinction for achieving a 3.5 GPA or higher for the Fall 2012 semester.

The following area residents were named to the the dean's list at Quinnipiac University for the Fall 2012 semester:

Robert Callahan of Fairfield, CT

Alexander Capozziello of Fairfield, CT

Sara Detrik of Fairfield, CT

Emily Mason of Fairfield, CT

To qualify for the dean's list, students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 with no grade lower than C. Full-time students must complete at least 14 credits in a semester, with at least 12 credits that have been graded on a letter grade basis to be eligible. Part-time students must complete at least six credits during a semester.

Quinnipiac is a private, coeducational, nonsectarian institution located 90 minutes north of New York City and two hours from Boston. The university enrolls 6,200 full-time undergraduate and 2,300 graduate students in 58 undergraduate and more than 20 graduate programs of study in its School of Business and Engineering, School of Communications, School of Education, School of Health Sciences, School of Law, Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine, School of Nursing and College of Arts and Sciences.
