Student Artwork on Display at the Pequot Library

The 40th Annual Townwide Student Art Show will be held at the Pequot Library starting Tuesday, May 27.

The 40th Annual Townwide Student Art Show will be held at the Pequot Library from Tuesday, May 27 until Thursday, May 29.

The library will exhibit more than 800 pieces of artwork by local students. The exhibit will also showcase pieces by students from Fairfield's two high schools, three middle schools, and 11 elementary schools.

"It is one of the gala events of the Fairfield school year and means so much to the students to know that their community is recognizing them," the library writes. "This show is a wonderful opportunity for our students to display not only the outstanding pieces from each grade level but to demonstrate the building blocks of our art program."
