Fifth Annual Candlewood Lake Canoe and Kayak Race

On Sunday September 25, 2011 Brookfield Park and Recreation, The Housatonic Valley River Trail, The Connecticut Water Trails Association, The Housatonic Valley Paddle Club, and The Still River Alliance will be sponsoring the Fifth Annual Candlewood Lake Canoe and Kayak Race to Benefit the Still River. This is the largest flatwater race in Western Connecticut.

This race was established to help raise monies to continue the environmental stewardship work and help to pay for maintaining the Still River since all funding at the local, state, and federal level has been eliminated.
