Southport Fire Dept. Auxiliary "Fired Up" Car Show

The Southport Fire Department Auxiliary will host its second annual “Fired Up” Car Show on Saturday, July 21, 2012 (rain date is Sunday, July 22, 2012) from 11am-3pm at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, 785 Unquowa Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824. The show is sponsored by Maritime Motors of Fairfield, Fairfield Auto and Truck Care, Boccanfuso Sons, The Classic Car Gallery, and Penfield Service Center. The cost for registration is $15 at the door and registration will begin at 10am and end at 12:30pm, when the judging will commence. Admission for spectators is free. Live music from local bands will be showcased as well as an appearance by members from the Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service and the Fairfield Police Explorers.

The show is open to all cars and trucks with no cutoff year as well as antique fire, police, and EMS apparatus. The Auxiliary will also be holding a silent auction. All proceeds from the show and silent auction will go to benefit the Southport Fire Department.
