In Tuesday's other game at Blackham (5:30 p.m),  Fairfield National takes on Westport American in the losers'  bracket.

"We were down early, but they (Fairfield American) always believe they can win and we did it again," Fairfield American coach Chris Daley said.

Westport grabbed an early 2-0 lead before centerfielder Chris Howell hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the first to tie the game.

Westport scored a run in the top of the second to take a 3-2 lead after two innings.

The game's final four runs came via home runs, as  Billy McGrath and Tommy Ryan each hit two-run shots.

Ryan's blast was a walk-off homer of sorts, as the contest was stopped after his homer made it 13-3 in the bottom of the fourth.

"The home run I got was a hanging breaking ball, so I took advantage of it," McGrath said.
