Fairfield American's World Series Run Ends [PHOTOS]

But with Will Lucas' no-hitter on Monday, the New England champions managed to make history before they head home.

They may not be advancing in the 2012 Little League World Series, but the ball players on Fairfield American have made their hometown proud.

Twitter was abuzz Tuesday with praise for the team after it was eliminated by Petaluma, Calif. in a 5-0 shutout.
