Fairfield Prep Hockey Beats Notre Dame Fairfield, 7-2

Dave White has a five-point game for the Jesuits, who improve to 3-0

There were White-out conditions Thursday night at the Milford Ice Pavilion.

David White recorded five points with three goals and two assists to lead the Fairfield Prep hockey team to a 7-2 victory over Notre Dame of Fairfield.

The top-ranked Jesuits improved to 3-0 while the Lancers fell to 1-2 in the battle of Fairfield.

Notre Dame kept it close early, only trailing 2-1 after the opening period, but Fairfield Prep had too much firepower.

Connor Henry scored two goals and Will Brophy and Dean Lockery each tallied once for the Jesuits. A.J. Unker and Brophy chipped in with three helpers apiece for Fairfield Prep.

Christian La Croix and Dave Canfarotta found the back of the net for Notre Dame of Fairfield.

Riley Wikman made 25 saves for the Jesuits and Scott Kline turned aside 15 for the Lancers before being replaced by Mike Samulenas, who allowed one goal on 16 shots.
