The Pythons, a Fairfield United Soccer Association U12 boys team, won the 2013 Newtown Memorial Tournment on May 27.
The team, coached by parent Tom Gannon and Tech Coach Alvin Charlery, walked away with the championship after winning all four games during the Memorial Day weekend tournament.
The team scored a total of 15 goals during the tournament and only gave up two goals total.
In the final game against the runner-up team, Ridgefield Black, the Fairfield boys clinched the championship with a 3-1 victory.
