The Fairfield Giants Youth Football Program has annouced its new executive board of directors for the 2012 term:

  • Mark Innaimo – President
  • Johnny Vasquez – Vice President
  • Dave Houghton – Athletic Director
  • Mark Cirilli – Treasurer
  • Lee Battista – Recording Secretary
  • Michelle Scholz – Cheer Coordinator

The election of new members occurred after the retirement of three veteran program volunteers -- Jack Tetreau, Jay Dunn, and Mark Schiller, all of whom displayed tremendous dedication and commitment throughout their tenure with FPW.

Tetreau served Fairfield Pop Warner for over a decade.  In addition to coaching at every level within Pop Warner, he served in various capacities on the board of directors, including athletic director and president.

Tetreau arrived at Fairfield Pop Warner in 2002 and was instrumental in turning the program into a nationally recognized powerhouse. As witnessed in the program he helped to re-build, the Giants went on to win six Connecticut state titles, three New England championships and a national championship.

Dunn served the program for eight years and volunteered countless hours at Sullivan Field as a coach, board member and the last three as the executive vice-president.   Schiller served four years in the program as treasurer.

Innaimo has been athletic director since 2008 and a head coach/general board member since 2004. As president, he will strive to establish a positive results-orientated plan for the growth and continued prosperity of the organization, as well as to provide leadership and communication that will continue to make FPW a leader within the youth football community.
