The Fairfield Prep basketball team begins the second half of the season on Friday when the Jesuits host West Haven at 7 p.m. at Alumni Hall.

With Terry Tarpey back at 100 percent, the Jesuits have been on a roll, ripping off three straight convincing wins following a 60-44 defeat to Xavier on Jan 3(when Tarpey was not at full strength).

The Jesuits (8-2) handled Notre Dame of West Haven 78-59 in their last game on Jan. 13. They were idle on Tuesday.

West Haven enters Friday contest at just 4-6, although the Blue Devils also have won three in a row. Of course, their last win was a 60-49 victory over non-SCC member Armistad Academy on Monday.

Fairfield Prep will get a chance to avenge the Xavier loss when they host the Falcons on Tuesday.
