Former Fairfield Warde standout Allie Davis of the Springfield College women's lacrosse team has been named this week's Female Maroon Athlete of the Week. Davis scored a total of eight goals in a two-game stretch on her team's spring break trip to Orlando, Fla., last week.

The sport management major scored two goals in her squad's tough 12-11 loss to 20th-ranked Stevenson (the winning goal was scored with three seconds remaining). But the very next day, Davis proved to be the hero as she scored the winning goal with 3.5 seconds to go in a 14-13 victory over Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Davis scored a team-leading six goals in that contest. Through three games, she led her team in scoring with 10 goals
