Fans Cheer on Fairfield American from Home

The Fairifield Public Library, the Pequot Library, and Colony Grill are offering up their big screens for the game.

While Fairfield American represents New England in Williamsport, Penn. at the 2012 Little League World Series, fans are showing their support at home.

The , the , and are offering their big screens for friends, families, and fans to cheer on the team.

At Pequot Library, Fairfield residents Sarah, Andrea, Gates, Ava, Myles and Jack cheered as Biagio Paoletta blasted a solo homerun at the bottom of the first.

"We're very excited. We with them good luck and that they keep on winning," Sarah said on behalf of the group.

Robyn Swan Filippone, Pequot Library's head librarian, said that after offering the space and big screen when Fairfield American went to the World Series two years ago, they decided to do it again.

"We think it's a great way to support the team and support the town," Filippone said.

"We are all so proud."
