In an interview with local video reporter Stephen Krauchick, First Selectman Ken Flatto recalls watching Fairfield American's thrilling 1-0 victory over Rhode Island Saturday night, a game that sent Fairfield American into the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa.
Flatto, who watched Saturday night's game in Bristol, spoke with Krauchick before the town celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Sherman Green Gazebo on Sunday night.
Fairfield American plays its first World Series game on Friday.
