On Friday, sophomore Nick Roberts started at quarterback for the Eagles, replacing Brendan Moore, who was injured last week.  Roberts passed for 130 yards and three touchdowns.

After scoring a safety, Cherry's 9-yard TD run put the Eagles ahead 8-0. Cherry then hauled in a 68-yard TD strike from Roberts to make it 15-0 after the first quarter.

In the second period, Roberts tossed TD passes of 34 and 28 yards to Adam Bissell, sandwiched around a 69-yard TD run by Michael Uus.

After building a 35-0 halftime lead Friday, the Eagles played their reserves in the second half.

Fairfield Ludlowe, which droped to 0-3, avoided the shutout with a safety and a late 6-yard TD run by Stephen Scholz.
