Amazing Women

Ever have the chance to be in a room with 30 creative, supportive, amazing and successful career women?  My Tri Embrace partner Eileen Sequeira and myself had this very experience last night.  We had the opportunity to introduce our new company to a group of women who are members of the Over 40 Females organization.  The organization is designed to empower and support women in all areas of business and chapters in their lives.  We met with massage therapists, financial planners, health coaches, jewelry designers, yoga instructors, social media specialists and many other women who have tapped into their inner strengths and talents and created interesting and inspiring careers for themselves.

As I gave a brief talk to the amazing women in the room, I was reminded of the incredible creatures that women really are: we play so many different roles in life - mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, employee, etc.  The list seems endless yet our strength to carry it all seems endless as well.  We certainly have our moments when life is simply too much but we find there’s always a woman around to help you pick up the pieces and rebuild.  Despite the different lives we all lead - women have this sacred gift.  It’s in our inherent nature to support, encourage, inspire and to love.  I’m often amazed at what women accomplish in the course of a day only to begin it again the following day and do it with a smile.  The women Eileen and I had the pleasure of meeting last night all possessed this gift - they reached out to us, congratulated us with our new venture at Tri Embrace and offered support for this exciting, new chapter in our lives. For that, we feel grateful and further motivated to make Tri Embrace a company that is committed to empowering and inspiring adults and children to make healthy, sustainable changes in their lives.

Thanks to Christine Oleynick and everyone at Over 40 Females for a terrific, inspiring evening and to Barcelona in Fairfield, CT for the delicious food and Sangria!  Women Rule!
