Whenever possible, the programs are inclusive, offering individuals with special needs and those without special needs opportunities to participate in activities side by side, learning from each other. This is especially true for the early childhood education program.

All programs are committed to assisting those with special needs to live as fully and independently as each is able in the richness of community life.

Programs for children and their families originate from the FEROLETO Children's Development Center in Trumbull while Adult Day Programs are provided from facilities in Stratford and Norwalk. There are 11 group homes with 24/7 care for both adults and children located in seven Fairfield County communities.

More than 500 children, adults and their families come through the doors of St. Vincent’s Special Needs Center to attend programs and receive services each year.
