Five Things, June 18: Affordable Housing Commission

Here are five things to know about Fairfield for Tuesday, June 18:

1. The weather. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon, with temperatures reaching a high near 77. Otherwise, skies will be partly cloudy.

2. Affordable Housing Commission. The commission will meet at 7 p.m. in Old Town Hall to discuss its update of the town's affordable housing plan and draft a letter of support for a housing proposal near the Fairfield Metro train station. Click here for an agenda.

3. Fairfield Library Book Sale. The beach read book sale at the main library branch continues Tuesday.

4. Parenting workshop on healthy eating. Hop on over the town line to Westport for a workshop on how parents' relationships with food can impact their children. The talk starts at 6:30 p.m. at Westport Family Counseling.
