Register for the Hot Oil 5K: The Colony Grill Post Road "Hot Oil" 5K race is Sunday, Nov. 10. The field is limited to 1200 runners and nearly 500 have signed up already -- don't miss your chance to register! The race benefits local police and fire department community initiatives.

Free Blood Pressure Screening: Bridgeport Hospital will offer free blood pressure screenings at Fairfield Senior Center Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

FEMA, DEEP Representatives in Fairfield: They'll hold a public outreach meeting Tuesday evening at Fairfield Ludlowe High School to talk about coastal flood map and insurance changes.
