Why worry? http://spreadsheets.latimes.com/boyscouts-cases/
Igor May 23, 2013 at 05:41 pm
Mara some of these scouts are close to being men physically though maybe not mentally. I also thinkRead More is some instances these young men could be pressured ( meaning wanting to impress or please a scout master) into doing something that they normally wouldn't do. Personally I really don't feel comfortable sending my son to camp with someone I think might harm him. Since I am responsible for him and you're not I will make the decision. if you think I'm a bigot or anti-gay, so be it. That's the way it is.
Darrell Imhoff May 23, 2013 at 04:51 pm
Hey Mara,if you're o.k. with a bunch of rump wranglers hanging around with young boys, thats yourRead More business. From what I recall from your previous posts, you've lived in Fairfield for about 10 minutes. Please feel free to move back from whence you came,Scarsdale,or wherever.

Would be nice if the Sasquanaug Association could clean up THEIR mess directly across the other sideRead More of the street, on Kings Drive. It's a total disgrace and a shame to Southport, even if it's on the 'other side of the tracks'.

Am I being Punked? This is just comical now. Do you even read what you type? I am back to...WOW!

No anger at all Madame. Just sadden by your inability to process anything more complex than theRead More directions on a Pop Tarts box.
maria May 22, 2013 at 11:41 am
Really? Is that the best you have? Dissappoited to say the least! So sad when someone has suchRead More anger and can only communicate by attacking others...where does that get anyone?!?! Its a parade and common courtesy GEEZ ... move on already! And PROUDLY I am from NY by the way...Thank you!

Chuck I don't think it's a point of denying anyone fun. It's dangerous to go swimming when evenRead More slightly intoxicated. Dangerous for the swimmer and for the life guard who has to risk his or her life saving that person. Plus people who can't control their drinking tend to get rowdy which spoils it for everyone.

Puritanism: the fear that somebody somewhere might be having fun.

No dogs running loose either. Not just Sasco; Jennings, Penfield and Southport too.

I think that the Old Post Road area ought to open to the same tear-down and redo that has beenRead More sanctioned by our P and Z , Tetreau and the others in this town, for all the other neighborhoods in town. Just because it's 'historic' should not absolve this area from experiencing the 'wonderful' rezoning that has been tacitly approved , one house at a time, by our town fathers for all the rest of us 'commoners' who live in 'marginal' neighborhoods that are deemed OK for redevelopment , which is exactly what is occurring. I for one, would like to see a Walmart right next to town hall.Or perhaps a gas station on one of the lots where there are 'hysteric homes' or was it historic homes. Both the same difference.

That is such a cool photo! Are you facing the world? Hiding from it? Feeling vulnerable (no shirt)Read More or brave? The photo suggests some of all of that. Would love to hear from the artist!
Chuck E. Arla May 13, 2013 at 01:15 pm
I'd guess it was the Fairfield Old Post Road, not the one in Southport that took the trolley tracks.

Cry me a river, Igor.

So some things change and then some don't. The rich call the shots. Yeah Southport.

Joe, did I insult you? I just stated my thoughts. So you sink to insulting people. You're one of theRead More morons that think that if they annoy poeple ,people will just bend to their ways. Well I can lower myself to your level.
Joe Mancini May 15, 2013 at 12:05 pm
Hey Wayne, as a matter of fact I am. Are you one of those drunken idiots with the huge beer bellyRead More stinking of smoke and booze at 1 p.m. dreaming of your glory days 25 years ago?
Darrell Imhoff May 13, 2013 at 04:59 pm
Hey Joe,are you another one of those spandexed tools going 60 mph down the middle of the road withRead More 10 of your yuppie a-hole buddies?

I have been a patient of Dr. Kipp's for 5 years and have never felt better than i do today. I don'tRead More know what i would do without Dr. Kipp and chiropractics as a whole...
