Restaurant Snob, please stay at Jennings.
The mere fact that you even compare Jennings and…Read More Southport shows a possible 2 digit IQ score, or at best very poor beach taste. Its like comparing Ffld Woods to the Pequot branch.

My other suggestion is to not go to Southport Beach. It is the worst of all the Fairfield beaches by…Read More far and smaller than my backyard. I may show up there however with my "Taco Express" or "BBG BBQ Trucks" this summer, we'll see...Jennings and Sasco are the beaches where you will usually find me in Fairfield.

Last summer I went there with my family. I ordered one of their overpriced hamburgers. I think a…Read More teenager girl was the cashier. So I was sitting there waiting for my order to come. Everyone else—my wife and in-laws were eating what they ordered--which I vaguely recall were fish tacos or something close to that. Time passes. After twenty minutes of sitting there, I get up and walked over there and asked the girl if my order was ready? She apologized in between her chattering with her friend and said she will tell the cook to get it ready in five minutes. Okay, these things happen. Nobody is perfect; we’ve all forgotten to do things in our chosen profession. So I sit down again, and guess what? She never told the cook to make me a hamburger. It was really weird. Another fifteen minutes go by before I ask her where my hamburger is. She said with a dazed look expression that the order must’ve left her mind. I politely tell her to forget about it and to give me my money back. The guy who probably was the owner raced after me and gave me a free hamburger.

I wonder why Plan B would go there (I am guessing rent and a tax kickback from the town) than go…Read More into an almost turnkey building like The Shack that has a well situated bar, full kitchen, etc. The remodel on the Old Post Office building will be way in excess of $1.5M.

The Old Post Office building is huge. By my estimation it is 50% larger than Joe's Americans. Way…Read More bigger than The Shack. Large Parking Lot in rear.
Caitlin, I know its not going in at The Shack...I posted the link earlier as it was on point to Restaurant Snob's earlier post suggesting Plan B
