Hopefully there is a tall enough parapet (> 36") on the perimeter of the roof to protectRead More the cop from falling off the roof. It only takes one moment of inattentention to fall off a roof. Otherwise....OSHA requires a Guardrail System, Fall Arrest System or Safety Nets be in place. OSHA - Duty To Have Fall Protection 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1) "Unprotected sides and edges." Each employee on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level shall be protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Nothing surprises me in Fairfield. I have seen town Publics Works Employees working 20' in the air in a bucket truck replacing banners at the Town Green and they were not tied-off in the bucket. They should have been wearing a fall protection harness and safety line to tie-off with.

Ah yes the spoils of WAR hitting our streets. I thank Joe Lieberman for 60% more heroin on AmericanRead More streets since he voted to war with Afghanistan in 2001.......................................................................... The year 2000 heroin production in Afghanistan was down to 10% until we invaded and by 2003 hit record highs to 80% and became #1 producer to the world. Afghanistan is the main producer of opium in the "Golden Crescent". Opium production in Afghanistan has been on the rise since U.S. occupation started in 2001. In 2007, 92% of the non-pharmaceutical-grade opiates on the world market originated in Afghanistan.[2] This amounts to an export value of about $4 billion, with a quarter being earned by opium farmers and the rest going to district officials, insurgents, warlords, and drug traffickers. A billion of that illegal heroin profit gets into the hands of campaign financing that will keep the status quo of drugs flowing to the USA just like Vietnam. ..................................... American Gangster now playing in Afghanistan .... Film to be released in 20 years after the billions has been made by the ones who voted to invade Afghan land.

Why the bad camera shots with millions in the store? Good possibility its an insurance fraud job.Read More Hannoush Jewelers phones should all be investigated prior to the robbery and if they had any contact with anyone who has a record of robberies in the past. Too large of an amount to not be an inside job. ............................................................................................... Police 'Snatch' Diamond District Jewelry Store Owners for Staging Hasidic Heist February 23, 2010 9:27am February 23, 2010 9:29am | By Nina Mandell, DNAinfo Editorial Assistant Commentsshareprint By Nina Mandell DNAinfo Reporter/Producer MANHATTAN — It was a scene straight out of "Snatch" — robbers dressed as Hasidic Jews, complete with fake beards, knocked over a Diamond District jewelry store and took $4 million worth of gems in a brazen daytime heist. Turns out, the cast of characters in this New Year's Eve 2008 caper at Dialite Imports on W. 46th Street, included the owners themselves, who paid two men to rob them, police said on Tuesday. In the heist, the thieves got past security guards using fake IDs and disguises and then tied up workers, including owner Atul Shah, before they made off with the loot. But investigators immediately thought something was fishy, police said. They found that the store was six months behind on rent and more than $1 million in debt, police sources told the Daily News shortly after the robbery. Police sources confirmed to DNAinfo that the robbery was a staged inside job. Shah, and another owner, Mahaveer Kankariya, both of New Jersey, were arrested and charged with grand larceny, insurance fraud and falsifying business records, police said. The men who posed as robbers hadn't been charged, though one suspect was in custody, police said. At the time of the crime, Shah told reporters he couldn't talk about the incident because of the insurance claim, the New York Post reported.
