The Greenfield Hill Village Improvement Society is a neighborhood group established in 1896 to preserve and protect…More the rural character of the town's Greenfield Hill neighborhood.</p> <p>The GHVIS sponsors an annual Pumpkin Festival and Christmas Tree Lighting and is involved in saving Greenfield Hill Grange #133 at 1873 Hillside Road; restoring the Bronson Windmill; expanding the number of dogwood trees in Greenfield Hill; advocating for the removal of illegal signs in Greenfield Hill; promoting the designation of scenic roads in Greenfield Hill; and organizing and conducting classes, seminars and lectures in environmental protection, zoning and planning regulations, and architectural and historical issues.</p> <p>The GHVIS holds its annual meetings in Greenfield Hill Grange #133 at 1873 Hillside Road, a vacant structure that the neighborhood association wants to preserve.</p> <p>The mailing address for GHVIS is P.O.
