The Rotary Club of Fairfield, established in 1939, is an organization of professionals and business people who…More are dedicated to providing service and assistance to their communities and to people across the world.
Rotarians are asked to subscribe to the motto "Service Above Self," and to Rotary's "4 Way Test" of ethical business and personal relationships. The 4 Way Test involves answering the following questions: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
Fairfield Rotarians conduct fundraising activities in support of the Fairfield Rotary Foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes peace, health, learning and civic improvement in the local community, region and world.
The Rotary Club of Fairfield also produces and supports "Follies," an annual Broadway-type review comprised of students from urban and suburban high schools that is designed to raise money for charitable organizations, build bridges between diverse communities and nurture an appreciation of the performing arts.
