PTA Council seeks nominations......

PTA Council accepting nominations for Deanna O. Kiernan Award 2013 The Fairfield PTA Council is currently seeking nominations for this year’s Deanna O. Kiernan Award. The award is presented annually in memory of a past president. When considering a nominee, the following criteria should be met: • Be a present or past PTA member • Be currently or previously a key volunteer in the Fairfield Public Schools • Be involved significantly in the betterment of youth and the schools • Have made a system wide contribution to further public education in Fairfield. Past recipients of this award have been: Brian Kelahan, Sarah Lubarsky, Betty Anne O’Shaughnessy, Charlotte Leslie, Ellen Dixon, Susan Callahan, Mary McCullough, Mary Tinti, Chris Hubbard, Barbara Rifkin, Ellen Moore, George Markley, Kathy O’Brien, Selina Strong, Alis B. McGrath, Debbie Ziff, Sidney Posto, Jonathan Kaufman, Sue Brand and last year’s 2012 recipient Pam Brennan.
