Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk

Families
don't come more musical than the Neville's. With Art and The Brothers,
the Neville's have made some serious sounds over the years; but none
heavier or funkier than Ivan Neville's Dumpstafunk. This is funk like a
runaway train, the sound of a good time that just can't stop rolling.

Ivan Neville is a busy man: Recording with Keith Richards, touring
with Bonnie Rait and The Spin Doctors, and fronting one of the baddest
bands in NOLA. Dumpstaphunk is his pet project, and stands out a
harbinger of 21st century funk (Vinyl District). It steps off
Parliaments Mothership and struts through punk, break beat, hip hop, and
more, pulling bits into it's own wah-soaked world. Funk has never been
heavier than with the deep half swing of New Orleans, and never better
executed than by Dumpstaphunk. Dumpstaphunk pushes the Neville family
tradition into the future, and we can't wait to see what they have in
store for us next.
