Carol C. Young is landscape painter working in acrylics and oils. She is a plein air painter as well as a studio artist whose work is primarily identified by a bold use of light and shadow along with iconic depictions of the rural landscape.

Young won "Best in Show" at Pequot Library's 2012 Juried Art Show.
