Morgan Heritage are a band undoubtedly in tune with their roots. Formed in 1994 by five children of reggae artist Denroy Morgan, they understand how both family and history play out in reggae music. The Royal Family of Reggae are back and touring in support of their new album, Here Come The Kings, slated to be released this summer. The album brings the band into new territory, with an R&B take on the reggae tradition for which the band is revered.It’s not about changing the message, but delivering it in a new and exciting way. For reggae and for Morgan Heritage, the message is pure. Love your world, and know your story. On Here Come The Kings, R&B, dance hall, and singjay come together in a way that only reggae could coax them to. That’s what reggae does; It creates community.Get together, be uplifted.
