Lauren Seltzer, LMFT is offering a
workshop to help parents explore their relationship with food and how it may
impact their children. This workshop will cover the basics of “Real Food”
and discuss how to make simple adjustments in our lives. The workshop
will also cover the topic of mindless eating with the goal of increasing
attention to eating habits and emotions connected to food. We will encourage parents to look at their own personal and family values around health and eating and how these may impact food choices today. We will challenge
the idea of “comfort food” and look into the idea of “healing through food.”
Participants can expect to be engaged in thoughtful discussions around eating
and to participate in activities that promote a healthier connection to their
food.
