Steampunk Workshop and Victorian High Tea for Tweens at Fairfield Public Library

Join Miss Kristina, Mistress of the Skies, as she shows you the wonders of retro-futurism. Indulge in her world-renowned snacks and make a Steampunk accessory to bewitch and bewilder your friends!  Dress up – Steampunk attire is encouraged but not required.  For grades 4-7.  This program will meet in the Rotary Room at the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road on Wednesday, November 20 from 4:15-5:30 pm.  Registration is required.

Wondering what Steampunk is all about?  Steampunk is a genre of science fiction that typically features steam-powered machinery instead of advanced technology, usually set in a Victorian or quasi-Victorian alternate history setting.  Miss Kristina is an expert, she just had a Steampunk wedding!
