Cops: Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting Teen

A 25-year-old Bridgeport man is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl, whom he picked up in Fairfield, police said.

The assault reportedly took place earlier this year, when Michael Ferguson of Grove Street allegedly picked up the victim and a friend from a home in Fairfield, drove them to an apartment in an undisclosed location in Bridgeport, and sexually assaulted the victim, department spokesperson Sgt. Sue Lussier said.  

Ferguson was charged with second-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault, and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.

He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 25.
