Karen Pioli is one proud aunt.
Her nephew, Brendan Canale, is a member of the Fairfield Ludlowe High School Class of 2013. And she was there to cheer him on, along with mom and dad, June and Tom Canale, and grandpa, Bob Moeller.
"I love graduations," Pioli says.
Her kids went through the Fairfield Public Schools system too, and she's the head secretary at Tomlinson Middle School.
Brendan will be headed to Ithaca in the fall to study education. "He wants to be a history teacher," Pioli says.
"It's just such a sense of pride," she says about her nephew's accomplishment. "Now he's going to start a new path."
